What I can offer as a mentor
I'm a longtime investigative reporter and producer at Reveal from the Center for Investigative Reporting. I can offer mentorship in investigative storytelling, particularly for radio and podcasts, including finding compelling characters, structuring complex investigations, conducting sensitive interviews, writing for the ear, and navigating the reporting and editing process. I'm also happy to offer guidance on pitching, collaborating with editors, managing ambitious projects, and building a sustainable career in investigative journalism.
Biography
I'm a reporter and producer at Reveal from the Center for Investigative Reporting, based in San Francisco. I've spent much of my career producing investigative and narrative journalism for public radio, with a focus on accountability, social justice, and stories that reveal how institutions and systems affect people's lives. I'm particularly interested in combining rigorous reporting with compelling audio storytelling to make complex investigations accessible to a broad audience.
