Biography
Maanvi Singh is the Guardian's National Immigration Reporter. Her investigations and features are focused on the impacts of immgiration policy on people and communities.
Previously, she covered environmetal justice and politics for the Guardian, before that ,she reported on science, health and environment for NPR. In 2022, she was a finalist for the Livinstton Award, recognized for her invesitgation on the proliferation of logistics warehouses. Her work has also been recognized by the Society of Environmental Journalists, and SPJ Northern California.
She is based in Oakland, California.
