Michael Morisy (He/Him)

Cofounder Michael Morisy is MuckRock’s Chief Executive Officer. He’s led hundreds of trainings on transparency, investigative journalism and civic engagement. He also helped improve federal policy through two terms of service on the federal FOIA Advisory Committee. He was previously a digital technology editor for the Boston Globe and a John S. Knight Journalism Fellow at Stanford University. He also has served on the boards of the American Society of Access Professionals and the National Freedom of Information Coalition.
